Day 2...(Yeah I'm a slacker)

Regardless of how much Kaylyn tried to get Flat Heather up for morning yoga, she would not have it. However, Flat Heather was very much into the West African Dance class.

Whew. That was a lot of dancing, Flat Heather needs some water to cool down.

Today was filled with dancing and great wisdom. No one can go to Elie's workshop and not dance. His great words of wisdom this year included your drum is the only person you need because it won't talk back to you like your wife or husband or boyfriend. Oh Elie.

The Song Writers concert was that night. There were many great acts and Flat Heather helped Kaylyn sell raffle tickets. Flat Heather laughed very hard when the creepy sound guy kind of hit on Kaylyn again. Luckily, Sam is good at playing pretend boyfriend.

After the show, Flat Heather got to hang out with Purple Paul. Purple Paul missed the real Heather, but Flat Heather is better than no Heather.

The jam session went into the night, but was not like the marathon jam sessions of previous years. Flat Heather ventured out for a bit and listened to some of the guitar players before going ot bed for the night.

Day One

At very early hour, Kaylyn makes Flat Heather get up so they can drive to Loretto. Flat Heather is not a morning person.

After a little of prodding (and some coffee from sheetz). They hit the road and make it to Loretto along with Kaylyn's friend Sam. They help move everyone in and make the first ice run of the weekend. Yay for ice runs. Jim welcomes everyone. Jim is very sad that the real Heather is not here. Flat Heather will do though (he also says Kaylyn should tell real Heather that Flat Heather is not a reflection of her chest size).

Off to the first work shop. Hmm, what shall it be? So many choices!!! Maybe some mandala art.

Flat Heather really like the mandala art, but had to be careful so no one made her into a mandala. She looked at Stephanie's. They were all so pretty.

Oh, look who's name tag we found! Silly Flat Heather, you aren't Brandon King.

After some more workshops and lots of meeting new people, Flat Heather stayed and jamed for a while. Alas, it was getting late and Flat Heather needed to get some rest for another exciting day.

One day, shortly before Rhythm Renewal, Kaylyn was jammin' on her back porch in Pittsburgh when a very sad thought crossed her mind.

Rhythm Renewal was very soon and her friend Heather would not be there to share in the crazy dancing and drumming fun. A very sad thought indeed.

Then, Kaylyn got an idea.

Yes, yes. It was a crazy idea, but it just might work.

No worries. This would surely be rad.

Thus, Flat Heather: The Merch Fairie was born (or well drawn with Kaylyn's excellent sharpie sketching skills).

Rhythm Renewal is not ready for this.
